BadWolf Brewing Company has been around for almost five years, and the founders, Jeremy and Sarah Meyes are Northern Virginia natives that are passionate about craft beer and want to share that passion with everyone that tries their beer. They make wonderful unfiltered and unpasteurized beer using all natural ingredients at two locations in Manassas. Their original location focuses on small batch brews, experimental beers, and test batches. Their second and larger location is their production brewery that focuses on their beers for distribution into the local market. Since opening their second location in 2015, they have grown significantly and 2016 saw their addition of their core beers in cans, which regularly appear on the shelves here at the Shop!
- Jesse’s Girl: “This tasty amber ale pours an enticing copper color and carries an easy bitterness that is artfully balanced by toasted malts and a lingering caramel finish. A year round beer for every occasion.” 5.5% ABV, 32.2 IBUs
- Aces High: “An APA unlike anything you’ve tried. We’ve stepped away from the American Super Hops to bring you an American Pale Ale brewed with Sorachi Ace, a hop of Japanese origin. A simple grain bill creates a beautiful golden color and helps to highlight the unique character of this hop. Look for subtle hints of lemon, dill and maybe even tea.” 5.7% ABV, 38 IBUs
- Cygnus X1 Grand Cru: Their current special release, this is a bourbon barrel aged Belgian Quad that has those great malty and sweet notes that we love out of Belgium beers with familiar Trappist ale esters. 11.5% ABV
