Pacari Chocolate is a family-owned company that has built a chocolate business based on socially and environmentally sustainable principles to ensure that their products meet three goals: 1) it is the highest quality organic chocolate; 2) it supports the well-being of the land; 3) it supports the community that produces it. Made from the native Arriba Nacional cacao, they both grow and make their chocolate in Ecuador. This made Pacari the first single-origin organic chocolate made entirely in Ecuador. They work directly with small farmers, pay a premium for their products, and have international certifications for being biodynamic, organic (EU & USA), kosher, vegan, and Raw Cacao.
Today, we are pairing these unique chocolates with a few things from our shelves!
- Esmeraldas 60% Organic Chocolate: A single-origin dark organic chocolate bar made with hand selected chocolate beans that provides a distinctive taste of terroir. Paired with Grands Fers Fleurie.
- Organic Chocolate with Coffee: A blended origin bar made mixed with organic coffee beans for a nice hit of chocolate and coffee! Paired with Villa Jolanda Rose Moscato.
- RAW Organic 85% Cocao + Coconut Sugar: In Raw Chocolate all of the ingredients are minimally processed and kept at low temperatures to maintain the antioxidants and complex flavor profile of the carefully selected cacao beans. Paired with Rodenbach Fruitage.
- RAW Organic 101% Cacao (with Nibs): A bar made with 100% minimally processed cocao and 1% cocao nibs for those that are serious chocolate lovers. Paired with Vya Sweet Vermouth.
