Sly Fox Brewing Company is one of the oldest breweries in the Delaware Valley with locations in Pottstown & Phoenixville, PA. The company was founded in December 1995 by the Giannopoulos family and as the years have passed, the brewery and family have grown. The original brewpub in Phoenixville was many people in the region’s first exposure to craft beer and since 2002, they have been a package brewery. They opened their second facility in Pottstown in 2012 and with the extra capacity, Sly Fox beers are currently available in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and Washington DC.

Tonight’s Beers:

  • Helles Golden Lager: “A German-style golden lager brewed with imported German pils malt and Saaz and Hallertau hops. This light-bodied beer offers a gentle, dry finish. A perennial favorite in the Sly Fox pubs and our brewer’s go-to session beer.” 18 IBUs, 4.9% ABV
  • Oktoberfest: “This traditional Oktoberfest beer celebrates the arrival of Fall. It is a medium-bodied, smooth and malty brew made with German Vienna malts and noble German hops.” 25 IBUs, 5.8% ABV
  • 360 IPA: “Finally big, bold flavor in a big, bold can that drinks like a favorite pint glass…anytime, anywhere. Sly Fox Brewing Company celebrates India Pale Ale tallboy-style, with an exciting fusion of Bravo, Cascade, Centennial and Lemondrop hops that’ll enliven the senses! Wide open flavor and aroma sing out in this dry-hopped IPA creatively packaged in the innovative “360” can.” 70 IBUs, 6.2% ABV
  • Nihilist Barrel-Aged Russian Imperial Stout: “Nihilist was carefully aged in premium oak cooperage where young bourbon had matured previously. Rich whiskey notes intertwine with the robust nature of this beer, showcasing strong chocolate and roasted malt flavors. This maturing transforms the beer into a delicious doppelgänger that any Czar would praise. With a warm and pleasant denouement, Barrel-Aged Nihilist is no pretender to the throne.” 80 IBUs, 9% ABV
