Starr Hill is the second oldest brewery in the state of Virginia (Legends is the oldest, for those that are keeping track) and they envisioned Charlottesville, VA becoming a mecca for craft beer. Today, it is and they are key part of it because many of those brewers got their start at Starr Hill. They are still an active and key part of the Virginia brewing scene, who has been able to recently reinvent themselves and their beer, while staying true to their music-loving roots. Come check out their Summer Tour Variety pack today from 5-7p!

The Beers:

The Summer Tour Variety 12-Pack features beers that are the perfect accompaniment to a day at the beach or camping in the mountains, including:

  • Jomo Vienna Lager: This is a smooth, multiple-award-winning Vienna-style lager. Fermented with Southern German Lager yeast, its crisp, clean taste, and noticeable hop aroma are effectively balanced with a slight malty sweetness. 4.6% ABV, 23 IBUs
  • Stone Rose Hibiscus Lager: From their Heavy Rotation series: A Helles lager with the addition of hibiscus flowers, providing tangy floral notes and a beautiful pink hue. 5.4% ABV
  • Northern Lights IPA: A newly enhanced version of a classic American-style India Pale Ale, Northern Lights is characterized by its full-flavored bitterness and poignant citrus-floral aroma. A perfect blend of barley and hops makes this a very balanced IPA. 6.2% ABV, 55 IBUs
  • The Hook Grapefruit Session IPA: Their summer seasonal IPA that has the tart freshness of grapefruit which perfectly complements this full-flavored beer’s bright citrus hop character, while its sessionable body brings you back for more. 4.9% ABV, 38 IBUs
