Winter Beer Tasting @ CCWS | Arlington | Virginia | United States

Okay, we have a Snow Day and a Beer Tasting! Come out and enjoy a couple winter seasonals, special release beers, and everyday brews that are perfect for this chilly weather …

The Beers:

  • Schlafly Tasmanian IPA: The Tasmanian IPA is brewed with 100% Australian hops. The Tasmanian hop, Galaxy, is a strong, aromatic variety that is different from traditional strains of the Pacific Northwest. Schlafly’s brewers developed a recipe that showcases the hop’s unique flavors of citrus and pineapple. Their special release IPAs further the American tradition for highly hopped beers that full of flavor! 7.2% ABV, 65 IBUs
  • Left Hand Saison Ble de Minuit: Are you looking for a dark beer that isn’t heavy or doesn’t carry any harsh burnt/overly roasted notes? This is a dry and crisp farmhouse-style ale with a mild tartness that is brewed with Colorado barley and midnight wheat. It pours a dark brown with a medium-light body and is the ideal winter saison! 6.8% ABV, 10 IBUs
  • Lickinghole Creek Scarlet Honey Hoppy Red Ale: While you may not expect this newer offering from LCCB to be a winter beer, it fits the bill perfectly with piney hops and a wheaty character. This beer is made with honey from Lickinghole’s own hives and it helps to protect Virginia’s bees. It is a great sessionable beer that is perfect for hunkering down during this icy, cold days! 4.9% ABV
  • Plus, one surprise beer … maybe off our Growler Station or maybe something fun off the shelf!
